WINTER SEASON 2020 SOUTH INDIAN OCEAN

CONTEXTUAL IMPACTS OF COVID 19

Year 2020 appears to herald a new Era for Mankind and also for Global Human Activities. The Summer Season 2019-2020 for South Indian Ocean started from October 2019 until April 2020 with a number of 10 Cyclones and a series of other Weather Systems. Now it is the entry of Winter Season May-October for the Southern Hemisphere, which seems to start earlier than usual. At this conjecture, it is also apparent that the CORONA VIRUS/COVID 19 Phenomenon and subsequent Lock downs World Wide is contributing to lesser pollution and some better Air Quality.


However, it is worthwhile to take note that COVID 19 out broke around 17 November 2019 in China. It was then during the Winter Season for the Northern Hemisphere, when snowfalls occurred throughout almost countries of Asia, Europe and America. So, the Southern Hemisphere may host the NOVEL CORONA PANDEMIC.
