(1) Update COVID 19 Mauritius:- Dr Joomaye of the National Communication Committee (NCC) held the Press Briefing from the Prime Ministers Office at 6.18 pm Wednesday 27 May 2020: There is NO NEW Contamination which has been recorded DURING THE LAST 24 hours; The TOTAL COVID 19 POSITIVE is now 334, including the 10 Deaths; a Total number of 322 patients have recovered and there are 2 ACTIVE Cases; 250 passengers are in 5 Quarantines (Read article below). (2) The COVID 19 Misc/Prov. Act and the Quarantine Act have been passed at the National Assembly on Friday 15 May. (3) The Flacq Hospital will now bear the name of late DR. BRUNO CHEONG who died on Monday 27 April 2020, while treating the COIVD 19 patients. (4) One 46 years old male foreigner who had been cured of COVID 19, who was SHOWING SIGNS OF POSITIVE-NEGATIVE Undetermined Results, has been tested NEGATIVE on Sunday last, after he ran away from the Wellkin Clinic. See article below. (5) Prime Minister PK Jugnauth addressed the Population at 6.00 pm on Friday 01 May by stating that the TOTAL CURFEW has been EXTENDED until 01 JUNE 2020. (6) Dr Bruno Cheong who treated PATIENT ZERO died on Monday 27 April making the 10th Death. (Read more Article below). 9th Death of 50 years of age and 8th Death of 63 Years recorded on 10 April. 7th DEATH recorded on 02 April. Local media state that he is a Police Officer, AGED 59. MBC TV evening Update  Wednesday 01 April, released the information from Dr Gujadur of National Communication Committee that there is now a 6th DEATH (the 20 years old girl). The 5th one, a man aged 71 died on 30 March. The latter had returned from abroad and been admitted in Souillac hospital on 29 March. Unfortunately, he died after complications.
